OUR COMMITMENT
CSII VALUES

The Child Support In Illinois Organization is based on basic moral values and principals.

Our purpose is to educate custodial parents and the community about Child Support.

We encourage all custodial parents to obtain support services through the Department of Child Support Enforcement (DCSE).

We advocate strictly legal avenues of child support enforcement.

We do not condone harassment of any kind towards the non-paying parent by the custodial parent or anyone connected to the custodial parent in any way.

We encourage the custodial parent to work with the non-custodial parent in every way possible and to allow child visitation despite non-payment of child support.

We encourage both parents to work together so that the child is not denied visitation due to parental issues.

We encourage non-custodial parents to obtain accurate information and support through the many avenues available for them including the Department of Child Support Enforcement (DCSE).

ILLINOIS COMMUNITIES

Child Support In Illinois believes it is important that the community is aware of the effects that child support has on each member. Only by knowing the positive aspects of enforcement measures and what it accomplishes and the negative aspects of non-payment of child support can the community effectively communicate with their elected officials when it comes to child support legislation and budgeting.

It is also important to make the community aware of our services as virtually everyone knows someone who has had or currently has difficulty collecting child support.

There is no statute of limitations on collecting child support!

Yet too many custodial parents have given up because "it's just not worth the fight" and/or "they don't know where to start".

We are committed to making sure that every community and every custodial parent in Illinois receives this information so they know they are not alone and that they do have resources available to them to collect what is due their children.

Information - We provide information on all aspects of child support from case opening with DCSE and Paternity through College Expenses and beyond.

Support - Whether it's via group post, email, "snail mail", phone or even by accompanying a member to court, everyone we work with knows that they are important and that they can count on someone to be there for them if needed. We even help proof-read documents and paperwork for total accuracy.

Follow-Up - Even when a case appears to be going smoothly it's important to make sure it keeps going smoothly, thus it's important to follow-up on the case at regular intervals. We provide the information on how to maintain the case and keep things going and what to watch for to prevent any problems down the line.
